Venomous Abyss Tier Tokens: Which Boss Drops Which Slot
The Venomous Abyss drops the Season 2 tier set the usual way: as tokens, one slot per boss. Five bosses drop them. The final boss, Ula'tek, drops a Slumbering Coil Curio instead — one any class can roll on and turn into the tier piece they choose.

Read the token names as armor type + slot word: the slot word is the same for everyone (Idol = hands, Remnant = shoulders, Icon = chest, Relic = legs, Effigy = helm), and the prefix tells you who can use it (Venomwoven = cloth, Venomcured = leather, Venomcast = mail, Venomforged = plate).
The Slumbering Coil Curio
Slumbering Coil Curios can be exchanged for a Tier Set armor piece of the player's choice.
Take it to Kirana in Silvermoon City. Because you pick the slot, the Curio can fill whichever tier piece the token bosses haven't dropped for you.
Which difficulty to farm
Gear item level climbs steeply between difficulties. What each one pays, from the opening boss to the last two:
- Raid Finder: item level 279–289, plus Veteran Mistcrest
- Normal: item level 292–302, plus Champion Mistcrest
- Heroic: item level 305–315, plus Hero Mistcrest
- Mythic: item level 318–344, plus Myth Mistcrest
Wowhead's rewards guide doesn't say whether tokens drop on Story Mode or Raid Finder, or what item level a token's tier piece comes out at — so we don't either.

If you're after one specific slot, you don't need a full clear: our raid team quotes per boss, so you can book just the boss whose token you need, or Ula'tek.
